We would like to draw your attention to the Call for chapter proposal for the Book “New Trends in Public Sector Reporting: Integrated Reporting and Beyond”, edited by Francesca Manes-Rossi and Rebecca Levy Orelli. The book is part of the Book Series published by Palgrave Public Sector Financial Management.

The deadline for the submission of chapter proposal is 1st October 2018. The book is planned to be published by the end of 2019.

Annual conference of the European Group of Public Administration (EGPA) - Permanent Study Group XII Public Sector Financial Management

The theme in the call for papers of the Study Group is "In the pursuit of financial sustainability: Enablers, facilitators and barriers from a public financial management perspective".

We would like to draw your attention to the PhD seminar and Workshop on “Modernization, Westernization, and Democratization of Public Financial Management in Central and Eastern European Countries” that will take place from 6-8 June 2018 in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine).

The contribution of International Research Networks on public sector accounting towards improving public sector financial management and reporting

The CIGAR network, the EGPA PSG XII, and the Accounting and Accountability SIG of the IRSPM have jointly established a task force that brings together members of the three research networks interested in playing an active and influential role in the worldwide process of developing high quality public sector financial reports. The mission of the task force is to assist the EU legislator and the IPSASB in their efforts to improve public sector financial management and reporting, by drafting theoretically sound and empirically embedded documents, either spontaneously, or in response to an invitation to provide comments and empirical evidence, for example, on exposure drafts.

To date, the Task force IRSPM A&A SIG, CIGAR Network, EGPA PSG XII has contributed on the following public consultations:
