Dear PSAAR Friends,

We would like to share a call for chapter proposals to a new Emerald book titled “Co-assessment of the Performance of Public Services: Theoretical perspectives and practical issues” that will be published within the Emerald Studies in Public Service Accounting and Accountability series (tentative deadline: mid-2025). Book editors: Carmela Barbera, Mariafrancesca Sicilia, and Ileana Steccolini.

The book welcomes contributions from different research communities that help enhance current understanding around government-led and citizens-led performance assessment initiatives, adopting different theoretical and methodological approaches, from different contexts.

Key Dates:

1^st of June 2024: Submission of chapter proposals (1.000 words max)

30^th of November 2024: Chapter submission
