Call for papers Revista de Contabilidad -Spanish Accounting Review (RC-SAR)

The editorial board of Revista de Contabilidad -Spanish Accounting Review (RC-SAR) invites authors to publish their articles and research results on relevant topics related to accounting with a multidisciplinary perspective, which may be in a national, international or organizational context.

RC-SAR supports works in both Spanish and English.

Revista de Contabilidad -Spanish Accounting Review (RC-SAR) is the journal of the Spanish Association of Accounting Academics and has been published uninterruptedly since 1997. Its objective is to contribute to the development of accounting knowledge and to provide a forum for the publication of articles of investigation of high quality. It is indexed in: Scimago Journal Rank (Q3), In-Recs, ISOC-Economy, Latindex and Emerging Sources Citation Index of Thomson Reuters (under evaluation for Journal of Citation Report). It has also the Editorial and Scientific Quality Recognition of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT). 

The editorial board invites authors to publish their articles and research results on relevant topics related to accounting with a multidisciplinary perspective, which may be in a national, international or organizational context. These works may be empirical or theoretical, accepting diversity and pluralism in terms of the paradigms and methodologies used. The research may be contemporary, historical or comparative. There is also flexibility regarding the fields of study: business sector, non-profit entities or public administrations. The mean response time for the first decision is 47 days (turnaround time). 

By way of example, the following topics relevant to the journal can be cited (it is not a closed list): 

  1. a) Accounting innovations and practical implications.
  2. b) Management accounting in business, non-profit and public sector entities.
  3. c) New perspectives of accounting information: integrated information.
  4. d) Corporate Social Responsibility and its economic and financial effects.
  5. e) The audit of business, non-profit and public sector entities. 

RC-SAR supports works in both Spanish and English.
