We would like to draw your attention to the 18th CIGAR Biennial Conference 2021 "Public Sector Accounting for a Sustainable Future” that will virtually take place on 24-25 June 2021 and the Doctoral Colloquium that will take place on 23 June 2021.

• Abstract submission of maximum one page with the purpose, design/method/approach, preliminary findings and contribution, to the respective session chair(s) by 15 March 2021.
• Notification of acceptance will be sent at the end of March 2021.
• The full paper submission is expected by 20 May 2021 31 May 2021. Full papers will be submitted to the respective session chair(s) and cigar2021@cigar-network.net

The 18th CIGAR Biennial Conference 2021 "Public Sector Accounting for a Sustainable Future” will virtually take place in 24-25 June 2021 and the Doctoral Colloquium that will take place on 23 June 2021.

The two-day Conference will include five streams coordinated by different chairs as follows: 

• Abstract submission of maximum one page with the purpose, design/method/approach, preliminary findings and contribution, to the respective session chair(s) by 15 March 2021.
• Notification of acceptance will be sent at the end of March 2021.
• The full paper submission is expected by 20 May 2021 31 May 2021. Full papers will be submitted to the respective session chair(s) and cigar2021@cigar-network.net

Eligible doctoral students can apply and submit their research proposals of max five pages for the CIGAR Doctoral Colloquium by 15 March 2021. The contact persons for the PhD colloquium are Pawan Adhikari padhik@essex.ac.uk (Essex University, UK) and Giuseppe Grossi giuseppe.grossi@hkr.se (Kristianstad University, SW; and Nord University, NW).

Special Issues related to the Conference will be announced in the Conference website https://cigar-network.net/cigar-conference-2021 in due time.

The attendance fee for the Conference is €50, payable on registration, except for participants in the Doctoral Colloquium.
